School is currently only open to children who are vulnerable or whose parents are critical workers.  As critical workers, parents must only send children to school if they cannot be looked after at home. Keep safe and well.

Covid 19

During these unprecedented times, we will endeavour to include all the information children and their parents will need to know about how we are working hard to keep our school community safe.  Details about home learning are also included in the event that children are unable to attend school.

Since school opened up for the new academic year, we have set in place rigorous safety procedures and systems to ensure that our pupils and any visitors are safe and in a Covid secure environment, as far as we can manage.  Below are the risk assessments school has set in place to make sure that pupils, staff and visitors to our school adhere to our guidelines and protect our community.

A FAQ sheet has been put together for parents in anticipation of the school opening in September.  While we are settled into a routine now, many of these questions are pertinent to parents and the sheet can be found here

In the event that children are required to isolate or a class bubble closes, school will provide home learning packs supported by online learning.  Our Blended Learning Contingency Plan can be found here.

Further information about home learning for your child's class can be found on their class page under the Pupils tab.

COVID Related Symptoms

If you or your child display any of the symptoms below, they should not come to school:

  • A new, continuous cough
  • A high temperature
  • A loss or change in, their normal sense of taste or smell

A test should be sought for you or your child if these symptoms appear and anyone with symptoms will need to self-isolate for 10 days along with the rest of their household.

Once at home, the child, parent and household should follow the Government guidance for households.  This can be found by following the link below:

If you have any questions or concerns about symptoms or what to do if you or your child is unwell, please ask the members of staff on duty at the start and end of the school day or contact the school office
